The Spaniard said, “all the time they have been exceptional.”
Guardiola made the statement at a press conference ahead of the top flight encounter at Wolves.
On Sunday 20 October, 2024, Wolverhampton Wanderers will slug it out with Manchester City in the Premier League 2024/25 match at Molineux at 14:00 (WAT).
At his press conference ahead of the Sunday clash, Guardiola said:
On Nathan Ake and Kevin De Bruyne…
“No, not ready… Yesterday Nathan [Ake] did the first training with the team. Maybe they can travel [this weekend] but to start, they’re not ready.”
On Wolves…
“They [Wolves] have got less points than they deserve. It’s what I can see after watching them during the international break. Always have been tough, since Nuno Espirito Santo was manager. All the time they have been exceptional.”
Currently, Manchester City are second on the table with seventeen (17) points, while Wolverhampton Wanderers are 20th with one (1) point.
Both have played seven (7) games.
