English Premier League side, Manchester United’s place in the Uefa Champions League 2026/27 has been secured following the Club’s 3-2 triumph over Liverpool in their top flight encounter earlier this month.
The victory guaranteed a top five (5) finish for the Reds, which means United will join Arsenal and Manchester City as the English teams in the competition, along with at least two (2) other Premier League teams.
The exact pot number for Manchester United in the draw in August will be made known later in the summer, when the full field of teams have been known.
Most top League across Europe will finish over the near two weekends ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, however, eighteen (18) teams out of the thirty-six (36) that will compete have booked their spots in the competition.

Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich have already clinched their place in the Uefa Champions League 2026/27. They were thrown out of the ongoing UCL 2025/26 by Paris Saint-Germaine (PSG) following a 6-5 aggregate loss in the semi final, but, they are definitely back to “try again”.
