Bayern Munich forward, Harry Kane, has expressed “disappointment” over the inability of the Bavarians to reach the final of the Uefa Champions League 2025/26 after losing to Paris Saint-Germaine (PSG) in the semi final.
The Englishman reacted via X, Bayern Munich will suffer the “disappointment for a while”, however, they will remain “focused” to ensure they conclude the season “strong”.
The Bavarians already have the Bundesliga 2025/26 title in the bag, and, will be working towards clinching the DFB Cup 2025/26 later in May.
Bayern Munich will fight for their second title of the season when they face VfB Stuttgart in the final of the DFB Cup on Saturday 23 May, 2026 at Olympiastadion in Berlin at 19:00 (WAT).
In his post-defeat reaction, Kane said: “Not the night we believed in yesterday. These games come down to moments and unfortunately over the two legs we didn’t take enough of ours.
“Proud to be part of this team and club, the disappointment will be with us for a while but we have to stay focused on finishing the season strong with a final still to play. Thanks for the support as always and can’t wait to see the fans in Berlin!”
Via X, Bayern Munich described the “disappointment” they suffered against PSG as “great”, but, said, the team remains focused on “moving forward”.
The Club posted: “The disappointment is still great, but the focus is on moving forward.”
