Arsenal have climbed six (6) points clear at the top of the table after a 3-0 victory over Fulham in the Premier League 2025/26 match at Emirates Stadium on Saturday 2 May, 2026.
A stunning first half performance had the Gunners net all three (3) goals with Sweden striker, Viktor Gyökeres, scoring twice and England winger, Bukayo Saka, finding one to bolster Arsenal’s fight for the Premier League trophy.
Early, in the 9th minute, Saka provided for Gyökeres, who opened the scoring for Mikel Arteta’s side, and then, the Swede returned the favour by providing for the Englishman, who made it two for the hosts in the 40th minute.
Saka’s goal came after Riccardo Calafiori’s goal was struck out by Video Assistant Referee (VAR) in the 29th minute.
In the 4th minute of first half additional time, Leandro Trossard assisted Gyökeres, who completed his brace and made it three (3) for Arsenal to boost their goal difference, as well as, the home side’s morale as they turn focus to Tuesday’s UCL showdown against Atletico Madrid.
Arsenal will host Spanish La Liga side, Atletico Madrid, at Emirates Stadium for the Uefa Champions League 2025/26 semi final second leg on Tuesday 5 May, 2026 at 20:00 (WAT).
Both sides concluded 1-1 in the first leg at Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid, Spain on Wednesday.
