Brazilian forward, Vinicius Junior, was on fire for Real Madrid as his hat-trick inspired the Los Blancos to a 5-2 comeback win over Borussia Dortmund in the Uefa Champions League 2024/25 League Phase match at Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday 22 October, 2024.

At the 60th minute, Carlo Ancelotti’s side were two goals behind after the German side went ahead through Donyell Malen and Jamie Gittens in the 30th and 34th minutes respectively.
It was defender, Antonio Rüdiger, who converted Kylian Mbappe’s assist to open scoring for the Los Blancos in the 60th minute, and two (2) minutes later Vinicius made it two.
Lucas Vàzquez added the third for the hosts in the 83rd minute; the Brazilian playmaker made it four in the 86th minute and went ahead to seal victory for the Spanish Kings in the 3rd minute of additional time.
Hat-trick scorer, Vinicius, in his post-victory comments, expressed gratitude to fans for their support that saw them through to a beautiful comeback win at home. He said: “Hello Madridistas. Thank you so much for your support, as always, throughout the game. We did it again! Hala Madrid!”
