President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been welcomed on behalf of the Ogun State government and its people by Governor Dapo Abiodun on the occasion of his Sate visit to the Gateway State on Saturday 4 April, 2026.
Thr President took the trip to the Southwestern State to “commission and inspect several landmark projects”, which include, the “Ilishan-Iperu Road in Ikenne Local Government Area, the Sagamu-Iperu-Ode Remo-Sapade Road (Old Sagamu-Ibadan Expressway) Phase 3, the Gateway International Airport Road, the Aviation Village, Security Vehicles, Electric Bikes, Ambulances, Agricultural Equipment, and the Independent Power Plant (IPP)”, Abiodun said.
Tinubu will also perform the flag-off of the construction of the Gateway International Conference Centre.
Governor Abiodun said, these “projects reflect our shared commitment to infrastructure development, improved mobility, enhanced security, emergency response, agricultural advancement, energy support, and economic transformation.”
He further said, the projects are “clear” proof of the Gateway State’s resolve “to build a more prosperous Ogun State”, as well as, “meaningfully” strengthen the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government.
Abiodun thanked the President for his “continued support for our vision of progress and development.”
