Kings of Germany, Bayern Munich, are now eleven (11) points leading the Bundesliga 2025/26 table after an easy 8-1 triumph over Wolfsburg at Allianz Arena on Sunday 11 January, 2026.
England forward, Harry Kane, netted his 20th goal in sixteen (16) matches in this campaign, smashing an amazing strike with his right foot into the far top corner to take Bayern Munich to 6-1.
The visitors clinched a German top flight record by netting into its own net for the third consecutive game after Kilian Fischer diverted a cut-back from Luis Diaz into his own net in the fifth minute.
Wolfsburg responded through Dzenan Pejcinovic in the 13th minute, but, that angered Vincent Kompany’s men, who fought back and seized full control of the clash.
Converting Frenchman, Michael Olise’s cross, Diaz restored Bayern’s lead through a header to make it nine (9) goals in the season for the Colombian.

On Friday night, Borussia Dortmund , who are second-placed on the table, drew 3-3 with Eintracht Frankfurt.
Bayern Munich are toppers with forty-four (44) points while Wolfsburg are 14th with fifteen (15) points.
On the other side, Borussia Moenchengladbach defeated Augsburg 4-0.
Harry Kane has now scored thirty-one (31) goals in twenty-six (26) encounters across all competitions in 2025/26.
