Ballon d’Or 2024: ‘Spain football is unstoppable’ – PM Sanchez

Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sanchez, has hailed all the Spanish winners of various awards at the recently held Ballon d’Or 2024.

The Ballon d’Or 2024 which took place in Paris, France on Monday 28 October, 2024 saw Rodri and Aitana Bonmati emerge Men’s Ballon d’Or 2024 and Women’s Ballon d’Or 2024 winners respectively.

PM Sanchez said, “Spain football is unstoppable”.

Also, Real Madrid won the Men’s Best Club, and Barcelona won the Women’s Best Club at the awards; Lamine Yamal won Best Young Player.

Jenni Hermoso, Socrates Award.


Real Madrid, best men’s team.


Barça, best women’s team.
