Peter Obi has sent his congratulations to Nigerian Chef, Hilda Baci, following her Guinness World Record “for preparing the Largest Serving of Nigerian-style Jollof Rice”.
Hilda Baci cooked the world’s largest pot of jollof rice; a feat which is a “powerful symbol” of what Nigerians can achieve “when passion, hard work and opportunity are united”.
The former Governor of Anambra State called for investment in the Nigerian youth, saying, they need to be supported.
Obi wrote on X: “Let me again congratulate Hilda Baci on her extraordinary Guinness World Record for preparing the Largest Serving of Nigerian-style Jollof Rice, reaching 8,780 kilograms.
“This is a powerful symbol of what our people can achieve when passion, hard work and opportunity are united. It reflects the limitless potential that resides in our youth.
“The Nigerian youths remain very talented with skills that can break world records. If we invest in them, support them and open doors of opportunities, there is no limit to what our nation can become.
“May this be one among many more records to come.
“A New Nigeria is POssible.”
Hilda Baci, who set the record in 2023 for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, cooked the world’s largest pot of jollof rice in Victoria Island of Lagos, Nigeria; the event pulled thousands of people who came with their love and support.
