‘ADC viable alternative to the current ruling party’ – Atiku

Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, said, Coalition Party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is a “viable alternative to the current ruling party”.

The 2023 Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) made the statement as he welcomed Hon. Aliyu Bello to the ADC.

Atiku said, he “personally” knows Bello to be a “dynamic youth mobilizer”, adding, his membership in the ADC will no doubt bring about “significant” benefits to the “mission” of dethroning the “incompetent and clueless” current government under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Atiku wrote on X: “Hon. Aliyu Bello’s decision to formally join the African Democratic Congress (ADC) underscores the party’s growing success as a viable alternative to the current ruling party.

“I know Bello personally as a dynamic youth mobilizer, particularly at the grassroots level.

“His membership in the ADC will undoubtedly bring significant benefits to the mission of ending the incompetent and clueless government of Tinubu and the detrimental governance it has enthroned.”

Waziri Adamawa urged young Nigerians to become part of the ADC as he “warmly” congratulated Hon. Aliyu for his “bold” decision to join the team with the mission to “rescue” Nigeria.

Atiku further wrote: “I warmly congratulate Aliyu for his bold and historic decision to unite with other patriots in the effort to rescue Nigeria. I also urge other young Nigerians to join the ADC and take ownership of this emerging party. The ADC is built on the principle of inclusivity, and it is a party that holds the promise of bequeathing leadership to young Nigerians.

“It is clear that Nigerians recognize the ADC as the platform poised to reclaim and rebuild Nigeria for the benefit of the country and its people.”
