Manchester United Brazilian defensive midfielder, Casemiro, is of the belief that, the Reds “are on the path to victory now.”
Casemiro’s statement is coming after Manchester United lost its first match of the Premier League 2025/26 by a lone goal to Arsenal right inside Old Trafford on Sunday 17 August, 2025.
The midfielder also said, he is “happy” at Old Trafford despite the Club’s troubles.
Manchester United are gearing up to face Fulham in the Premier League match at Craven Cottage on Sunday 24 August, 2025 at 16:30 (WAT).
According to the Club’s official website, Casemiro said: “Manchester United always has to think about the victory. I’m not going to say that losing is okay, we have to win.
“Manchester United always has to win. I think we have shown good moments, and we have played much better today, but we have to look for the victory. We are on the right path now.”
When asked about the problem at Manchester United, Casemiro answered: “It’s complicated. Everyone can have an opinion. In the last few years, we have reached several finals, such as the Europa League [last season] and the thing missing is to win.
“Few clubs win these cups and we need to continue thinking about winning these trophies and to continue improving.”
On his stay at Old Trafford, Casemiro said: “I am very happy here.
“My family is happy here. I enjoy every day at Carrington and at Old Trafford. If people talk from the outside, that’s fine, it doesn’t interest me. I just want to focus on winning.”
