Vice President, Kashim Shettima, led a Federal Government delegation on a condolence visit to commiserate with the Ododo family over the passing of Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo, Governor Ododo’s Father.
The VP was accompanied by Borno Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum; Senator Abubakar Kyari, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, and others to the Okene residence of the Governor.
Shettima, who visited the Ododo family on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, prayed: “May Allah grant his soul eternal rest, reward him with Aljanna Firdaus.”
According to the VP’s official X account: “The Vice President, @KashimSM, on Wednesday led the Federal Government’s delegation on a condolence visit to @OfficialOAU at his Okene residence to commiserate with the Ododo family over the passing of their patriarch, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo.
“Accompanied by the Governor of Borno State, @ProfZulum, and the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, @SenatorAKyari, among others, the Vice President prayed to Almighty Allah to “grant his soul eternal rest, reward him with Aljanna Firdaus, and grant his family and the good people of Kogi State the fortitude to bear the loss.”
“Senator @KashimSM, who said the delegation was in the state on behalf of @officialABAT to extend condolences to Governor Ododo and the entire family, described the passing of Pa Ododo as a great loss to the whole nation.
““We are here at the behest of @officialABAT to commiserate with the Ododo family over the demise of the patriarch of the family, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo.
