ADC reacts to report that INEC refuse to recognize Party’s new leadership

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has responded to story going viral that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has refused to recognize the Party’s new leadership under David Mark.

David Mark, who served as 12th President of the Nigerian Senate from 2007 to 2015, was appointed National Chairman of the ADC recently.

The ADC through its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, described the story as “entirely false and misleading” and urged the public to “ignore”.

Abdullahi posted on X: “The attention of ADC has been drawn to a story circulating that the @inecnigeria has refused to recognise the new leadership of our party under the Distinguished Senator David Mark.

“This story is entirely false and should be ignored. We urge Nigerian people to ignore such misleading reports from any quarters and stay focused on mobilising the long suffering people of Nigeria for the great task to save our dear country.”
