Governor Yusuf present letters of employment to over 1,000 young agricultural extension agents for KNARDA

In his administration’s bid to strengthen agricultural productivity, Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, presented letters of employment to “1,038” young agricultural extension agents for the Kano State Agricultural and Rural Development Authority (KNARDA).

The Governor explained, the extension agents will help “facilitate sustainable farming practices” as he urged the new employees to be serious with their responsibility.

Governor Yusuf posted on X: “In our bid to bolster agricultural productivity in Kano, I presented letters of employment to 1,038 young agricultural extension agents and support staff for the Kano State Agricultural and Rural Development Authority (KNARDA).

“The extension service workers are expected to facilitate sustainable farming practices, and I charge the new employees to take their responsibility with seriousness, dedication, and a deep sense of duty to the people of the state.”

Yusuf continued: “As frontline ambassadors of agricultural transformation, their conduct and commitment will directly influence the success of our efforts to revitalise agriculture and empower rural communities across the state.

“I thank the management of the State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, KNARDA, the Civil Service Commission, and other stakeholders who worked tirelessly to make this milestone a reality.”
