Several streets have been renamed in the Bariga Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Lagos State, as announced by Hon. Kolade Alabi David, Chairman, Bariga LCDA.
Alabi said, the streets were renamed to honour a couple of personalities who have “put the name of our local council out on the Global map” using their various “God given talents and crafts”.
“Ajidagan street” was renamed “Olamide Adedeji (Baddo) street”, and “Charly Boy Bus Stop” renamed “Baddo Bus Stop”.
New names of streets in Bariga LCDA
Senior Special Assistant on New Media to Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Executive Governor of Lagos State, Julius A. Gawat, posted on X: “Street Names CHANGE in Bariga LCDA as announced today Officially announced by the Chairman Bariga LCDA, Hon. Kolade Alabi David.
““As an administration we took our time to reflect on a number of our people who have put the name of our local council out on the Global map through their respective God given talents and craft, as well as eminent personalities in our Nation and our beloved state and Local Council who have contributed immensely to the development of our Nation and our State. Today, we will be officially renaming streets in honour of the legacies”

• Bariga Road ❌Bola Ahmed Tinubu Way✅
• Community Road Akoka ❌ Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu Road ✅
