Hyacinth Alia Executive Governor of Benue State, has received the award for Excellence in Rural Development and Champion of Women and Youth Inclusion at the 15th Edition of the African Achievers Awards, held in London, United Kingdom (UK).
At the ceremony, making his Goodwill message, Governor Alia reaffirmed his dedication to building a Benue “where no one is left behind”.
Governor Alia wrote on X: “I was deeply honored to receive the Award for Excellence in Rural Development and Champion of Women and Youth Inclusion a few days ago, at the 15th Edition of the African Achievers Awards, held at the House of Lords, UK Parliament, London.
“In my goodwill message at the ceremony, I reaffirmed our dedication to building a Benue where no one is left behind; a state where everyone, regardless of location or background, has a fair chance to thrive.
“I sincerely thank the organizers of the African Achievers Awards for finding me worthy and for spotlighting transformational leadership across the continent.”
