President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, has called on Jewish brothers and sisters “to fight with all their strength to bring home our 101 hostages held by Hamas terrorists”.

The Israeli President made the call at the General Assembly of the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), which he tagged “the largest gathering of the American Jewish community”.
Herzog congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in the US Presidential Election 2024 which saw him emerge 47th President of the United States (US), as well as, hailed Trump for his “vision for peace for the Middle East”.
According to President Herzog: “At the General Assembly of the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) last night, the largest gathering of the American Jewish community, I shared some of my experiences from the past year.
I called on our Jewish brothers and sisters to fight with all their strength to bring home our 101 hostages held by Hamas terrorists. I congratulated President Trump on his election and welcomed his vision for peace in the Middle East. I thanked the Biden-Harris Administration for its support and deep friendship. I spoke about the unbearable rocket attacks on the north, the antisemitism in Europe and the United States, and the hatred spread by the evil empire of Iran.
Above all, I emphasized that the people of Israel choose life, and this choice is what makes us an eternal people. Am Yisrael Chai!”
