Spanish side, Atletico Madrid, and Argentine club, Botafogo have reached an agreement for the transfer of attacking midfielder, Thiago Almada, to the Metropolitano.
The agreement is pending confirmation once Almada passes the required medicals and puts pen to paper for the contract.
Atletico Madrid announced via X: “Agreement with Botafogo for the transfer of Thiago Almada.
“Our club and the Brazilian side have reached an agreement, pending confirmation once the player passes the required medical examination and signs the contract.”
