Governor Mbah commends Governor Otti for ‘great work’ in Abia State

Executive Governor of Enugu State, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, visited his “brother”, Executive Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, on Saturday.

Mbah praised Otti for the “great work” he’s doing in different areas in Abia.

The Enugu Governor said, “the South East is one closely knit region”, adding, “what happens in Enugu impacts Abia, and vice versa”.

Governor Mbah posted on X: “I visited my brother, Governor Alex Otti, in his country home in Abia State.

“Leadership can sometimes feel like an echo chamber, so it’s refreshing and productive to step out, compare notes, share ideas, and exchange perspectives.

“I commended Governor Otti for the great work he’s doing across sectors in Abia. It’s clear we share a common belief that the people are the epicenter of governance. Thus everything we do, every project we pursue, must ultimately serve and uplift our people.

“We also share a private sector background, which influences our results-driven approach to governance. In the spirit of regional collaboration, we discussed how to better align our development efforts. After all, the South East is one closely knit region. What happens in Enugu impacts Abia, and vice versa.

“This visit was about partnership, shared purpose, and a collective vision for a more secure, just, and prosperous South East. My sincere thanks to Governor Otti and his team for the warm reception and hospitality.”
