Borussia Dortmund scaled through South Korean side, Ulsan Hyundai, by a lone goal in the final Group F match in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 on Wednesday 25 June, 2025 at the TQL Stadium in Ohio.
The result means the German Bundesliga club are through to the round of 16 of the tournament.

It was a narrow win for Dortmund over their Asian opponents in an uninspiring encounter.
Niko Kovac’s Black and Yellow came into the final group match in Cincinnati with the knowledge that a point would help them through to the knockout stage.
At the TQL Stadium with thousands of empty seats, new addition, Jobe Bellingham, from Sunderland, who recorded his second start for Dortmund, assisted Daniel Svensson, who placed the German side in front in the 36th minute.
On the other side of Group F, Brazilian side, Fluminense, also progressed to the knockout stage in second spot after a goalless draw with South African side Mamelodi Sundowns, who finished third in the table.
Dortmund kicked off the showdown with such seriousness and appeared as though they would go into the half-time break at least a couple of goals in front, however, their finishing was off.
The Black and Yellow are to improve in their scoring if they are to progress beyond the round of 16.
Despite emerging losers, Ulsan goalkeeper Hyeon-woo was in beautiful form with eight (8) saves in the match.
