A beautiful strike from English defensive midfielder, Declan Rice, ended Arsenal’s 2024/25 home campaign on a high as the Gunners defeated Newcastle United and secure a spot in next season’s Uefa Champions League.
Thanks to goalkeeper, David Raya, for keeping Mikel Arteta’s side level at the break after he made a series of outstanding saves to keep third-placed Newcastle at bay.
However, the hosts were much improved after the break and Rice found the back of the net in the 55th minute to pave the Gunners way to victory.
This outcome puts to an end Arsenal’s four-game search for a win at home; a perfect way to sign off the season at the Emirates Stadium.
