An X user (@emmaikumeh) has reacted after the Nigerian Presidency through Sunday Dare, Special Adviser to President Tinubu, posted, “Nigeria’s economy is ranked among the top 5 growing economies in the world”.
@emmaikumeh said, “It is unfortunate that Sunday Dare has been known for always pushing lies, cheaply thought-out propaganda and fake news”, adding, “it is a blatant lie”.
Sunday Dare wrote: “Nigeria takes the lead in Africa with Economic Growth as President Tinubu’s Reform Policies abate the Headwinds that confronted Nigeria’s Economy two years ago.
“Nigeria’s economy is ranked among the 5 top growing economies in the world. Nigeria, with its 230 million population, Vast Resources and a President with Clear Vision can punch above its weight again.”
@emmaikumeh reacted: “It is unfortunate that Sunday Dare has been known for always pushing lies, cheaply thought-out propaganda and fake news. Today, he is saying according to IMF Nigeria is among the fastest growing economies, which is a blatant lie. The real Stats is out, Nigeria is like number 30. So, why all the lies and unnecessary dishonesty? They are not even helping rheir own administration by pushing out lies and propaganda.
“The other day he came out to say that the number of appointees was balanced. People came out and refuted his claims with hard facts, he said he was going to bring out the correct information. Till date, we have not seen anything of sort from him. It shows that Tinubu does not even have any achievements. If you work for a Government that has achievements, it won’t be hard to promulgate what the government has achieved instead of fishing for lies to promote everywhere.”
