As dawn breaks in the city of Rome, pilgrims who had queued up for hours find their way to St Peter’s Square for the Solemn Requiem Mass for Pope Francis.
The funeral of Pope Francis is scheduled to hold today, Saturday 26 April, 2025.
Pope Francis, Head of the Catholic Church and Sovereign of the Vatican City State, passed at the age of eighty-eight (88) on Easter Monday.
