At the unveiling of the KAP film village and resort in Igbojaiye, Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, made some promises which his administration will keep to support the investment by actor and producer, Kunle Afolayan, as well as ensure that the business thrives.
Makinde also assured that, he will support other investors that choose Oyo State.
Governor Makinde said: “At yesterday’s unveiling of KAP Film Village and Resort in Igbojaiye, Oyo State, I made some promises which our administration will fulfil to support the investment by Kunle Afolayan and ensure that the business thrives. I also assured that we will support other investors that choose Oyo State.
“We will provide connectivity to the national grid for the resort. We will also provide an alternative source of power through a solar-hybrid mini-grid for the resort within a timeline of six months. The road to the resort will be fixed by the Itesiwaju Local Government Council. Finally, the planned airstrips at Otu and Igbeti for security surveillance will be utilised to accommodate small aircrafts from the international airport in Ibadan to provide easier access to the resort.”
