After ‘Labour drops plans for rape gang inquiries’, Conservative Party Leader, Kemi Badenoch, has said, she will “force a vote on a full statutory inquiry”.
She made the statement after meeting with “brave and determined” rape gang survivors.
Badenoch’s statement is coming as a reaction to a headline which says: “Labour drops plans for rape gang inquiries – Government says it will adopt ‘flexible approach’ with other options open to councils including local panels and audits.”
Kemi Badenoch reacted: “This move is pure Labour obfuscation.
“Last week, I met with more rape gang survivors. Brave and determined, they’re deeply sceptical of Labour. One said to me Labour “lied to the country”.
“So I will force a vote on a full statutory inquiry. Every MP can show whose side they’re on.”
