The Presidency said, through Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser Information and Strategy to President Tinubu: “Senate concurs with House of Reps and approves President Tinubu’s proclamation of state of emergency in Rivers State.
“As reported by Channels TV, the Senate will establish a mediation committee consisting of eminent Nigerians to help resolve the state’s political crisis.”
