Governor of Rivers State , Siminalayi Fubara, announced, he has fulfilled the promise he made the people of Akpor Kingdom to build a “befitting” Palace.
According to Governor Fubara: “Today, history was made in Akpor Kingdom as I fulfilled my promise to build a befitting palace for the people. This is the first palace to be built in the community in over 200 years, a testament to our commitment to community development.
“We are grateful to HRM Eze Chike Worlu Wodo for commissioning this landmark project. And I’m honoured to receive the title of Omenma of Akpor Kingdom, a rare gesture of appreciation.”
