AFC Bournemouth embarrassed Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United by three (3) goals to nil (0) in the Premier League match on Sunday 22 December, 2024 at Old Trafford.
It was the second time back-to-back in the Premier League the Cherries are making light work of the Reds; Bournemouth handed a 3-0 wallop on Manchester United in 2023, and they just repeated it with pride in 2024 right inside the same Old Trafford.
In his reaction to the humiliation suffered by United, Piers Morgan wrote: “RIP Manchester’s footballing dominance. It’s over.”
Manchester United will spend Christmas in the bottom half of the Premier League table.
