Winning back titles from Oleksandr Usyk would be no big deal – Anthony Joshua

British heavyweight professional boxer Anthony Joshua has said, it would be “nothing” winning back his Heavyweight titles when he slugs it out with Ukrainian heavyweight professional boxer Oleksandr Usyk.

The fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on Saturday 20 August inside the Jeddah Super Some in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

In this rematch, Joshua can reclaim the WBA (Super), WBO and IBF titles, if he defeats Usyk in Jeddah.

When the Briton was asked what it would mean to reclaim his titles from Usyk after being written off by so many, he answered: “Nothing. It ain’t that big of a big deal.

“For everyone else, it is. You’re only as good as your last fight. Once I win, [it will be] what’s next?”

Joshua also said that it “would be a lie” for him to tell the world that “there’s no pressure”.

He said: “There’s definitely pressure. It would be wrong for me to say there’s no pressure, that would be a lie.”
