Chelsea Football club plans to extend manager Thomas Tuchel’s contract.

German professional football manager, Tuchel, took charge of the Blues in 2021 from Frank Lampard, and has a contract with the club until 2024.
Initially, Tuchel put pen to paper for an 18-month contract after taking over from Lampard, then, extended it after helping Chelsea clinch the Uefa Champions League 2021.
Tuchel said: “My people talk to the owners and take care of everything else. You know how glad I am to be here and how much I like it.
“There are talks but I think given the situation where we come from, and where we are in the middle of the transfer period, I think it is the very best if I focus on my team and on sports and on being competitive.”
Chelsea will travel to Elland Road to play against Leeds United in a Premier League match on Sunday, 21 | 14:00.
