On Friday, Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister, said, Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has “destroyed” the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) by his words following his loss to Presidential candidate of the party Atiku Abubakar at the party’s primaries.

Wike had in a news conference on Friday in Port Harcourt, dropped a bombshell, saying that the PDP’s National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu collected N1 billion to manipulate the party’s presidential primary election in favour of Atiku Abubakar.
He challenged Ayu to deny that he did not collect N1 billion during the party’s presidential primary election in Lagos.
Wike went ahead to dare PDP to suspend him and see what the consequences would be thereafter.
Fani-Kayode reacted to the happenings in the party since the party’s primaries which saw Atiku Abubakar emerge presidential flag bearer of the party, he said, Wike has exposed Atiku as “dishonest, unreliable, untrustworthy and deceitful”.
In his tweet, Fani-Kayode said: “Wike has destroyed PDP. He said Atiku is dishonest, unreliable, untrustworthy & deceitful.”
The former Aviation Minister further said, Wike described PDP National Chairman Iyorchia Ayu as “corrupt, arrogant, racist and anti-southern bigot”.
With the troubles in the camp of the PDP, Fani-Kayode concluded that the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu will become Nigeria’s “next President”.
“He said Ayu is a corrupt, arrogant, racist, power-hungry, anti-southern bigot. He said PDP wants to turn Southerners into slaves. He has smashed their balls. ABAT is our next President!”
