The government of Russia has warned against promoting “hypotheses” concerning the cause of the crash of a Russia-bound passenger plane that claimed the lives of thirty-eight (38) in Kazakhstan on Wednesday.

Before it crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau, the plane was diverted across the Caspian Sea, from its destination in Chechnya to western Kazakhstan.
Out of the sixty-seven (67) people on board, twenty-one (29) survived.
On Thursday morning, Azerbaijan held a national day of mourning for victims of the crash.
