The former Anambra State Governor, has also said, if he and his running mate, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed, fail to “turn Nigeria around for good”, then, Nigerians can move ahead and “hold me responsible”.
This simply means, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, are really down-to-earth when it comes to transforming Nigeria from “consumption to production”, and they sure must have very solid plans to make this work out.
Obi also promised to return Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) back to their homes, as well as assist them to go back to their farms.

He said: “We will secure and bring peace to Benue so that those at the IDP camps will go back to their homes and farms and we will support them in production.
“Benue will be supported to become an exporting state considering that it is an agriculturally rich state.
