Fury and Joshua to fight for brand new belt made of 100% gold

Whoever emerges winner between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will go home with a one-off golden belt.

None of both will hold a recognised strap when they get in the ring later this year.

However, there will be something physical on the line as Ring Magazine have launched the ‘Fight of Britain’ belt – commissioned by Turki Alalshikh, Saudi Boxing Chief.

It will be “100 percent gold”, they say; and photos reveal a red, white and blue strap beautified with Union Jacks and lashings of precious metal.

For more than ten (10) years, Fury and Joshua have both claimed to be the best British heavyweight of their generation, and, the fight in November will finally reveal who truly is.

The Battle of Britain is expected to break the Wembley gate record when the sale of tickets commence.

This bout is coming after Fury emerged victorious in his comeback fight against Russian heavyweight boxer, Arslanbek Makhmudov, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in April.

Joshua will fight Albanian heavyweight champion, Kristian Prenga, in July and fans expect him to come out victorious.

Prenga has won twenty (20) of his twenty-one (21) fights – all inside the distance – and promoters Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren have both admitted that the Fury scrap will not happen if Joshua fails to win.
