Ghadebo Rhodes-Vivour, 2023 Gubernatorial candidate for Lagos State under the Labour Party, has come out to sympathize with the people of the Middle Belt, as well as, all Nigerians over the “maladministration of a failed government”.
GRV reminded the government that, its primary motive is to “protect life and property”.
His statement is coming following the recent attacks in Jos on Palm Sunday and the Easter Sunday attack in Kaduna State during a Church service in Ariko Community. The attack in Kaduna was however foiled by the Nigerian Army leading to the rescue of “31” hostages.
This is “unacceptable”, he vented on X.
Rhodes-Vivour said, if the Nigerian government “refuse” to respect Nigerians, then, let us “teach them respect” as he called for unity to demand for “accountable and effective servant leadership”.
“My heart goes out to the people of the middle belt and across Nigeria, victims of the maladministration of a failed government”, GRV posted.
He further posted: “The primary purpose of government is the protection of life and property.
“My fellow Nigerians, this is not acceptable, if our leaders refuse to respect we the people, we must teach them respect, If they believe they are King’s over us we must remind them our ancestors gained our independence years ago.
“We must all unite in one voice to demand accountable, effective servant leadership whose priority is not 10mins of eye service,
“No , one whose sole priority and focus is the Well being of all the people, not one tribe , region or religion , ALL THE PEOPLE”
