‘Enshrine religious freedom’: Christmas messages from World Leaders

Leaders from around the world have released their Christmas messages to Christians who are celebrating the season.

Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. It is observed annually on December 25 as both a religious holy day and a major cultural festival with focus on themes of love, giving, hope, and family.

President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in his message, expressed his commitment “to enshrine religious freedom in Nigeria”.

Donald Trump, United States (US) President, made known in his message that, American no longer has “Men in Women’s Sports and Transgender for Everyone”.

Ninth President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, prayed, “May Jesus Christ’s timeless message inspire dignity and peace among all nations”.

Christmas messages from World Leaders:

Barack Obama, former (44th) President of the United States (US), posted on X: “Merry Christmas! Michelle and I hope you have a wonderful holiday filled with light and joy.”

Bola Tinubu, President of Nigeria, posted on X: “On this Holy day, I wish all Christians in Nigeria and around the world a Merry Christmas.

“I thank God for the opportunity to serve as the leader of our great country, and I pray for peace in our land, especially between individuals of differing religious beliefs.

“I stand committed to doing everything within my power to enshrine religious freedom in Nigeria and to protect Christians, Muslims, and all Nigerians from violence.”

Donald Trump, President (45th and 47th) of the United States (US), posted on X: “Merry Christmas to all, including the Radical Left Scum that is doing everything possible to destroy our Country, but are failing badly.

Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, posted on X: “On the blessed occasion of Christmas, I extend my warmest greetings to Christians in Iran and around the world.

“Jesus Christ (PBUH) is revered in our tradition as a messenger of compassion, justice, and mercy. May his timeless message inspire dignity and peace among all nations.”
