Anthony Joshua, British heavyweight boxer, has been injured in a car crash close to Lagos – along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway; two other me lost their lives in the unfortunate incident.
Local officials disclosed, the two other men who died are “foreign nationals”.

36-year old Joshua, a two-time world heavyweight champion, has family roots in the Sagamu Town of Ogun State.
Jake Paul, American Youtuber-turned-boxer, who got his jaw broken in two separate places in the bout against Joshua on 19 December, 2025, expressed his thoughts and prayers to the two men who lost their lives, as well as, Joshua.
Paul wrote on X: “Life is much more important than boxing. I am praying for the lost lives, AJ and anyone impacted by today’s unfortunate accident.
“RIP Sina Ghami and Kevin “Latif / Latz” Ayodele. My thoughts and prayers are with their families and friends and AJ.”
