After a lone goal victory in the Premier League 2025/26 clash against Manchester United on Monday 24 November, 2025, David Moyes, Manager of Everton, has described the victory at Old Trafford as “brilliant”.
Despite fielding against Ruben Amorim’s Reds with just ten (10) men after Idrissa Gana Gueye was shown a straight red card early, in the 13th minute, the Toffees stood firm and carted home all three points.
English Central midfielder, Kieran Dewsbury-Hall, scored the only goal of the encounter for the visitors in the 29th minute, and Everton held on despite intense pressure from the home side.
Moyes said, the Toffees are still on their way to recovery, however, expressed optimism of “getting everything back together” after the night at Old Trafford.
Dewsbury-Hall was awarded Player Of The Match for his beautiful contribution to Everton’s stunning win against Manchester United, who have emerged Champions of England for a record twenty (20) times.
Via Everton official X account, in his post-victory comments, Moyes said: “I still think we’ve not even started yet to get everything back together, but having more nights like this will generate what we want. It was brilliant tonight to get the supporters a victory here.”
