English Premier League 2025/26 toppers, Arsenal, are currently blazing hot as they defeated Kings of Germany, Bayern Munich, 3-1 in the Uefa Champions League 2025/26 League Phase match on Wednesday 26 November, 2025 at Emirates Stadium.
An amazing second-half display earned Mikel Arteta’s Gunners all three (3) points in this top of the table clash in the Champions League.
The home side went in front in the first 45 minutes when Jurrien Timber headed in Bukayo Saka’s corner in the 22nd minute, however, Vincent Kompany’s Bayern struck back in the 32nd minute with a great goal of their own through teenage Lennart Karl.
The other half of the showdown was all about Arsenal as Noni Madueke scored his first Gunners goal in the 69th minute before fellow substitite Gabriel Martinelli rounded Bavarians goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer, midway inside the opposition half to place into the empty net in the 77th minute.
Both Managers, Arteta and Kompany, were handed yellow cards.
This outcome means Bayern Munich have now suffered their first defeat of the season.
