Warri Wolves, promoted from Nigeria’s second tier football league, Nigeria National League (NNL), discomfited Enyimba Football Club by two (2) goals to one (1) in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) 2025/26 match at Enyimba International Stadium in Aba, Abia State on Sunday 19 October, 2025.
The Seasiders took the lead in the 17th minute when H. Mohammed hit the back of his own net, but, the Elephants levelled through E. Edidiong just ten (10) minutes later.
Warri Wolves, based in Warri , Delta State, restored its lead in the 67th minute through T. Emonena, and held on until the end.
The result leaves Warri Wolves FC on the 6th spot with fourteen (14) points, while Enyimba FC dropped to the 8th spot with thirteen (13) points.
