Defending Champions, Bayern Munich’s insatiable hunger for records continue as the Bavarians remain perfect in the Bundesliga 2025/26, winning seven (7) matches out of seven (7).
This is coming after Vincent Kompany guided Bayern to a fine 2-1 win over rivals, Borussia Dortmund, in the top flight encounter on Saturday 18 October, 2025 at Allianz Arena.
The first half of the clash went flawless for the hosts as England forward, Harry Kane, opened scoring in the 22nd minute; and Michael Olise made it two (2) in the 79th minute.
The Black and Yellow pulled one back late, in the 84th minute, through German attacking midfielder, Julian Brandt.
The result means Bayern Munich have opened up a five-point lead at the zenith of the Bundesliga standings.
Dortmund upped their challenge in the second 45 minutes, however, Brandt’s goal was not enough to boost the morale of the visitors for a comeback at least.
