There are a whopping six (6) English Premier League clubs in the Uefa Champions League 2025/26, they are: Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur.
These Clubs have set their eyes on claiming the crown from French Ligue 1 club, Paris Saint-Germaine (PSG), who beat Serie A club, Inter, 5-0, to win the 2024/25 edition of the tournament.
However, these English sides will have to wriggle their ways through the newly formatted, 8-game league phase to reach the knockout rounds.

How the new Champions League format works
There are thirty-six (36) clubs that have been divided into four pots of nine for the draw. Every team will do battle with eight (8) different opponents for the upcoming league phase.
Once the showdown kicks off, all 36 teams will be sorted into a one table. The top twenty-four (24) will advance to the knockout rounds, with the top eight earning byes from the first round and the remaining 16 sides (next 8 seeded, last 8 unseeded) slugging it out for a place in the last 16.

• Knockout playoff round: February 17-18, February 24-25
• Round of 16: March 10-11, March 17-18
• Quarterfinals: April 7-8, April 14-15
• Semifinals: April 28-29, May 5-6
Final
The last showdown of the Uefa Champions League 2025/26 will take place on May 30, at Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary.
