Hulk Hogan laid to rest in private funeral in Florida

Hulk Hogan was laid to rest in a private funeral in Clearwater, Florida, on Tuesday, twelve (12) days after he passed following heart attack.

The family and friends of the late American professional World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar converged to celebrate his life on Tuesday, Aug. 5 after his death on July 24.

Terry Gene Bollea, AKA, Hulk Hogan, passed at the age of seventy-one (71).

The service held at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Clearwater, the city where Hulk, born Terry Gene Bollea, had been residing with his wife Sky Daily.

Pictures from the funeral showed men and women in black suits with orange boutonnieres carrying his casket into the funeral home.

The WWE legend suffered a history of leukemia, as disclosed by medical records obtained by PEOPLE, and atrial fibrillation, a common disorder that results to irregular heart beats.

The late wrestler’s history of leukemia, a form of cancer that affects white blood cells, was not previously known.

American retired professional wrestler, Ric Flair, 16-time World Champion, wrote on X: “Even In Heaven, He Sold Out Again. The Most Beautiful Funeral I’ve Ever Attended! EVERYONE Was There. Hogan and Linda had two children, 35-year old Nick Hogan, and 37-year old Brooke Hogan. Three days before the funeral, Nick attended WWE’s SummerSlam where the organization honored late father on August 2.
