Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, joined the wife of the Vice President, Hajiya Nana Shettima, to donate food items to vulnerable groups in the State on Friday.
The “important effort” was carried out under the Renewed Hope Initiative Social Investment Programme’s Food Outreach Scheme.
The move aims to support those who are “most in need”, the Governor said, however, he admitted, it may not take care of every challenge, but, it is a step that will help soften pressures families face on a daily basis.
