Umo Eno, Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, has commissioned the “ultra-modern” NUJ Auditorium Complex in Uyo.
The Governor made known, he presented brand-new cars to the Union’s State Working Committee members.
The NUJ Auditorium was named after the Governor’s late wife, Patience Kemi Umo Eno.
Governor Eno posted on X: “Today, I commissioned the ultra-modern NUJ Auditorium Complex in Uyo and presented brand-new cars to members of the State Working Committee of the Union.It was an emotional moment as the NUJ named the auditorium after my late wife, Patience Kemi Umo Eno, and I sincerely appreciate their kind gesture.
“I’m grateful to our journalists for promoting the ARISE Agenda and the Akwa Ibom project, choosing collaboration over conflict, and showing true faith in the development and progress of our State.I also offered the outgoing Chairman of the NUJ, Akwa Ibom State Council, Comrade Amos Etuk, an appointment as my Senior Special Assistant on Local Media.
