Spanish club, Valencia CF and English club, Arsenal FC, have reached an agreement for the transfer of Cristhian Mosquera to the Emirates Stadium.
This agreement is coming as a result of the clear and unequivocal desire expressed by the player, who has made it vivid he has no intention of renewing his contract with Valencia CF and made known his plan to move to Arsenal FC exclusively.
Cristhian Mosquera became a part of the VCF Academy in 2016 and recorded his first-team debut in January 2022. Since then, he has fielded in 90 official matches.
According to Arsenal.com, Andrea Berta, Gunners Sporting Director, said: “We’re very happy and excited to have signed a hugely talented young player in Cristhian Mosquera. We identified Cristhian as one of the strongest young defenders in European football, and he is an important signing for our future.

Manager Mikel Arteta said: “We’re delighted to welcome Cristhian to Arsenal. As a 21-year-old defender, Cristhian has already performed consistently well with significant experience in La Liga. He is an intelligent player with good pace, who can play centrally and on both sides.
“He is a young player with exciting talent and enormous potential, who will fit well into our squad as we continue to prepare for next season. Cristhian adds good quality to our squad, and we look forward to working with him and making him feel at home with us.”
Cristhian Mosquera will wear the number 3 shirt and will lonk up with his new teammates on the Gunners men’s pre-season tour in Asia.
