PM of Australia Albanese visits Great wall of China

Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, visited the Great Wall of China.

The Australian PM said, it is in the interest of his country to build a “stable relationship” with the Asian country.

Albanese disclosed, his mission in China is to advocate for Australia’s interest directly as it is crucial for “maintaining and developing those ties”.

PM Albanese posted on X: “It was an honour visit the Great Wall of China today.

“It is in Australia’s interest to have a stable relationship with China.

“Being here to advocate for our national interests directly is critical for maintaining and developing those ties.

PM Albanese also expressed gratitude to Secretary Wang Xiaohui, for the “warm” welcome to Chengdu.

He said, Australia’s connection with China encompasses, trade, education, technology, culture and more.

PM Albanese said on X: “Thank you for the warm welcome to Chengdu, Secretary Wang Xiaohui.

“Australia’s connection with Sichuan, China includes trade, education, tourism, medical technology, sport and culture.

“I look forward to strengthening our ties.”
