Arsenal English midfielder and defender, Myles Lewis-Skelly, has expressed his excitement to link up with new addition, Noni Madueke.
Noni Madueke joined Arsenal from Chelsea.
Speaking from the Gunners’ pre-season Asia Tour, academy product, Lewis-Skelly, said, the winger will offer a lot with his precision.
Noni Madueke sealed his transfer just before Arsenal jetted off to Southeast Asia, however, having taken part in the FIFA Club World Cup, he is now on a short break before kicking off his pre-season preparations.
The former Blue will join his new teammates when Arsenal returns to England ahead of the Emirates Cup.
According to Arsenal.com, Lewis-Skelly said: “Noni is my guy.
“We get on so well and we are so similar. I’m really happy he’s joined us because even when I joined up with the national team, he made me feel so welcome. And so vice versa when he came here, I made him feel welcome as well.
“He’s so direct, can play on the left or right wing. His qualities are going to help us out so much. I’m so excited to have him because he’s going to bring a lot to the team.”
In thieir next pre-season Asia tour match, Arsenal will face Newcastle United in Singapre on Sunday 27 July, 2025.
On the supporters in Singapore, Lewis-Skelly said: “I love it, the people are so nice and it’s so clean here. Connecting with the fans, has been great everybody is so happy to see each other. We’re so grateful for their support and we know nothing is possible without the support like this.”
