Federal Fire Service decorates newly promoted senior officers

The Federal Fire Service (FFS) has decorated newly promoted senior officers on Wednesday.

The decoration ceremony took place at the Conference Hall of the Service Headquarters, Abuja.

This was announced via a Press Release signed by ACG A.U. Umar, ANIPR, Head, Corporate Services, Federal Fire Service Headquarters, on Wednesday 23 July, 2025.

The Press Release reads: “The Federal Fire Service today held a decoration ceremony in honour of its newly promoted senior officers at the Conference Hall of the Service Headquarters, Abuja.

“The event witnessed the formal decoration of two senior officers elevated to the prestigious rank of Assistant Controller General of Fire (ACGF) ACGF Egbe Godwin Ejembi and ACGF Ganah Mohammed.

“In his address, the Controller General of Fire, Engr. Jaji Abdulganiyu, O., MIFireE, MNSE, congratulated the honorees and commended their years of selfless service, dedication, and hard work. He described the promotions as well-deserved and a clear reflection of their unwavering commitment to duty.

“The CGF emphasized the value of diligence in public service, stating, “Hard work pays. Promotions in the Service are earned through consistent dedication, professionalism, and integrity.”

“He further noted that the recent promotions of several senior officers in the Service highlight the agency’s commitment to staff welfare, career progression, and operational excellence.

“The ceremony was attended by top management staff, family members, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the achievements of the newly decorated officers.”
