Obi said via X: “I had the honour of attending the Foundation Laying/ Graduation Ceremony of the Dominican Sisters’ College, Abatete in Anambra State. I have actually been part of the institution’s trajectory since my time as Governor of Anambra State.
“While serving as the Governor of Anambra State, I constructed the girls’ hostel of the school from scratch, ensuring that the female students had a safe, secure, and conducive environment to live and learn.
“I laid the foundation of the boys’ hostel and continued my commitment to the school by donating ₦25 million.

“Education remains the most productive investment any nation can make. It is the foundation of progress, the initial ladder of pulling people out of poverty, and the bedrock of peace and development.
“We must continue to support our health and educational institutions and poverty alleviation if we are to build a strong and sustainable nation for our future leaders.
“A New Nigeria is POssible.”
